Jack is dead...

Jack died today, sometime while I was at work. I'm devastated. Life is unfair. He was only a year old. A few weeks ago he got a respiratory infection which after a bit cleared up on its own. He was doing so much better. He wasn't gaining weight back though. I don't know what to do. Someone told me we'd go out in a few days and buy 3 more. I don't think I want to. I don't even want MooMoo (my blonde feeder rat) anymore. He was such a jerk to Jack all the time but they were like brothers. They slept together every night. This sucks.

aw that sucks man one of our female rats died on thrusday but she was nearly four years old

That sucks. I had a rat once when I was growing up; she'd sit on my shoulder when I went around the house or hide under my hair where it was nice and warm. I was really torn up when she died.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a rat named Спутник (sputnik) that went everywhere with me...even loved going in the pool. I remember how upset I was when he pasted so I really feel your pain.
