or just sand, i used just sand with mine.. worked fine.. with some cork pieces for them to hide in.. all depends on what you want it to look like.. i think they dont care..

I had that happen to a few of my mordax when the lot of 'em were 2I. It sucks when you can't trace it to anything.

I might just give them to the zoo soon. Cant handle all these babies running about and also...I dont want any more deaths. Have been no eating deaths...just random deaths...I dont like deaths so I might just have to send them on their merry way to marwell zoo

But -- but -- you can have your OWN zoo!! In your home! With a gigantic tank of a Heterometrus community!

i think it would work... the only reason pet shops have arachnids is either on the off chance someone impulse buys it or to draw attention to that area because it is weird, so why not put them somwhere where people go to look at "weird" creatures

So Im going to take babies away from mum (havent been able to yet!) and I thought mum wasnt being as nice to them anymore as possible...I went in last night to find them ALL huddled next to the heat mat wall and mum comfortably sat with one of her young sitting on her face!!!! over her mouth parts too!
