baby p.imperator dead :(

Ok as most of you know i just got a baby p.ipm yeterday only 2i and fit to pop an moment,
well i got him yesterday and im pretty sure he has died, but i dont know why all the temps and humidity is fine,
one minute he was moving went to check on him an hour later and he wasnt moving at all, infact it kinda looks like his chelicerae are hanging loose. any body have any ideas?? nothing has ever died on me in a days time.

im sorry man. i cant really think how he could have died. if he has........

im thinking that he was going to shed and just couldnt do it or something im gunna wait a day and see if there is any movement then i will know for sure, but im pretty sure hes dead

Survival of the fittest at the end of the day. It happens unfortunately. I've had scorpions that look as healthy as can be, optimum conditions, then die for no apparent reason.

Thing is if it was about to pop then the move to a new enclosure might have stressed it too much.

thats true but i dont think it was stressed by it, it ate a small cricket at like 2am this morning. Thats just the risk with little 2is i guess, its just too young to know if they are strong and healthy or not

Sorry to hear it man, but as you've said, that's sometimes the risk of getting baby scorpions.

yeah, i think im going to get another but maybe 3i or 4i this time, atleast i know there a lil stronger that way

Sorry for your loss. Probably just a failed molt. It happens. I'm sure you won't have the same problem with the next one you get.
