| Hey guys picked up my first A. bicolor today from my local pet shop. I love him! They are very cool scorpions I will post pictures once he settles down and after I get him into his permanent home since he is still in his deli cup. Any last minute tips about these guys and how to care for them would be appreciated. Dont worry I did my research I know how to properly care for them I just love hearing from you guys! Thanks | |

| Hey!
How nice!!
Looking forward to the pics.
You might already know:
- semi-opportunistic burrower, they might burrow when given the chance. - Bone dry enclosure, also mycosis sensitive species - Calm character but can explode at any second. - High temps - Not communal
Enjoy !!

| Thanks for the tips! Appreciate the help ill try and get some pictures up when I remove some cricket parts today I definitely know about the explosive character. He was the calmest thing when he was in his cage just minding his own business then I put a cricket in and he turned into a violent killing machine. He tore that cricket a new one like I have never seen before haha. I have a small water dish on the complete opposite side of the cage is this ok? he is in a critter keeper so there is alot of good ventilation and the water evaporates fast. Mine has definitely dug alot. He mainly stays under his slate rock all day and usually ventures out at night so it is alot like having a pet slate rock haha. Thanks for all your help and ill try and get pics up today. | |

| Well, you don't have to take it out. You could just use a water bottle cap and fill it with water every week or two weeks. They drink just like any other scorpion. | |
