| Real nice shots your taking now mate, can see the difference with your pics but they were so good anyway.
Do I sense a macro lens already with that fang shot?
Can't wait for my little GBB to get like that.

I'm sure your GBB will grow fast. hahaz As for my pictures, it's not considered true 1:1 Macro yet as i have yet gotten my prime lens (Still deciding on which to get) That "fangs' shot" was a crop image taken only with a macro/close up filter(OpticZeis) on my Nikon D3100. I've gotten a Raynox DCR-250 Super Macro conversion lens yesterday. That conversion lens itself has a much better magnification on my kit lens. I was basically smilling when i looked through the Viewfinder with it Can't wait to get my prime lens and attach Raynox to it to see the results.. Pse feel free to comment on my pics, i'm all out to learn. Your Macro rocks

| Cheers mate! You'll notice a big difference when you get a true prime macro lens, the speed is amazing, because they have alot less moving parts and glass they let alot of light in and are very fast. Ah so it's basically a magnification filter, works well going by that crop. Wonder what it would work out at with the filter and at 1:1 magnification, might look into one of these. I wish I could think of any suggestions to say about any of the pics you've posted but they're all stunning and I'm impressed. Just keep doing what your doing What I need from you though is some photoshop tips | |

| photoshops easy jay you just need to get on and have a play around with things also google is your best friend its packed with tons of tutorials for photoshop im just learning myself but luke is really good with it Cant wait till im used to the new camera not really played around with it yet need a macro, got told how to turn your normal lense into a macro lennse today for £5 lol by using a reverse adapter macro ring like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280662639916&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT dunno how good it will be but for £5 its worth a try before we can afford the proper lense lol | |

| Sweet, I can do basic stuff, alot of what I do on there is just in the raw file editor before even taking it into photoshop. I want to be able to put a border, label and watermark like GS has but without doing them all seperately.
Yeah I've read about reverse mounting a lens to use as macro, never tried it though worth a shot. Maybe get one of those magnification filters GS has as well that just mounts on the lens, like a magnifying glass.

What I need from you though is some photoshop tips Thanks for the encouragement my friend. As for photoshop, +1 to bex's suggestions. It should be easy for you I usually shoot in jpeg, although raw has better post-processing control. I just upload them to my desktop and open them up with Photoshop to add the borders etc. - *~BEX~* wrote:
