Wierd animals I tell you. I noticed some of my scorps do that when they aren't very hungry or fasting. I guess they just feel more intimidated and won't waste a meal.

I used to feel hoppers and locusts and they went down a treat! loved them! was after one nearly every week!
When the male died it was pointless to buy locusts so I now share his crickets, but when I get more, or the babies get bigger *near adulthood* I will go back to hoppers

We've tried giving our little emp locusts but as he's in a faunarium they just tend to cling to the lid and he can't get at them... All our scorps feed on crickets really, I gave our caraboctonus keyserlingi a locust the other day, it lived out the night on the roof of the tub then during the day it made the foolish mistake of seeking shelter in the wrong place Shocked

Our adult emps shared an adult locust when we first got them but we only have small ones currently so its crickets for them. The only thing I hate about crickets is trying to catch the male ones to put in!
