| Just got a Hadrurus Arizonensis and I think she may be Gravid.
Let me know what you think!
Another of her body.
Also, if she is Gravid...what do I do with the Slings? I keep hearing that Haddy Slings are hard to raise. The bucket I have her in right now is already made and will be hard to add a false bottom for growing slings
Her environment...
Different pic...

| First we have to be certain she is an adult, what size is she? I can't make out from the photo if the embryos are visible, can you see little round white blobs through the pleural membrane? That is the only way to be certain. | |

| She's probably 2 1/2 inches long from her chelicerae to the base of her tail. That should give some scale for you.
I think so - I'm really not sure what I'm looking for.

| Hadrurus arizonensis can get to 5 inches I believe so likely it is just fat or in pre-molt. | |

Yes, but he's not measuring the length of the entire scorpion. @ Bayushi-san, scorpions are measure from the tip or the carapace to the end of the metasoma. But from the size you gave to the base of the metasoma, I'd say it's an adult. Not sure if it's gravid or not, as I don't see any embryos, and Haddys do tend to eat themselves to obesity.

| So to control diet, should I just give her one small crickett a week for moisture? Whats a good way to get her into fat camp?
Also - im not ruling out gravid. What am I looking for with embryos? The pictures dont show it well, but there are shapes inside her skin.
