Fat Haddy

My H. arizonensis is getting fat. I'm either over feeding or it's gravid. I ask Ken for an adult so I don't think it's
pre-molt. I feed it 3 crickets a week. I didn't sex it when it arrived, now I wish I had. I guess time will tell.
The next feeding is Friday.

Hadrurus do tend to get really fat though. If she is gravid, good luck with her. How big is it? (From mouth to telson)

It's between 3.5 to 4 inches from mouth to telson. If it's gravid, I have an exciting challenge ahead of me trying to raise a brood of H. arizonensis.

I wish you luck! Mine was gravid and you'd have never noticed it so there's a good chance. That didn't go well though, under formed babies.

ours is fat like that lol has been for over a year now lol...hardly ever eats either

Mine eats everything I give it. Usually, the crickets get ambushed in the burrow, but last Saturday, I saw it catch a cricket in the open and dispatch it with a sting. Way cool.

I took this photo as the haddy was lounging under the heat lamp this morning. It may have slimmed down a bit,
so it's probably just fat and not gravid. Today is feeding day.

great looking haddy. i'm sure mine is an adult but is tiny compared to yours i really need to figure out how to upload photos from my phone to be sexed
