I've heard about scorpions lasting for a week in the mail.

I have sent packages that have taken 10 days to arrive with no casualties but its not a risk i want to take if there are other options.

Its not fair on the animals really and the less time in the post the better.

That is one of the worst cases of mycosis I have ever seen... Imo, the seller should take responsibilty here. Sorry for the loss dude.
