| Looks pretty kapoot to me. Best to leave it for another day or two in case this falls under the "playing dead" category . . . but I wouldn't count on it. Sorry man. | |

| It happens, comes hand in glove with the hobby. One minute ya overrun with scorps the next you lose some.
It is sad but there again, it means a trip to the petshop or go on ya fave website to get a new one.... cant leave that tank empty now can we?

| You could dry her out and pose her real nice. When my P. liosoma died, she was in her container long enough to dry out naturally without getting juicy or stinky. I just think mounted displays look cooler than pickled displays. | |

I just think mounted displays look cooler than pickled displays. Aye thats where the hairspray can come in handy as well. I haven't ever preserved a scorpion in alcohol, prefer to have them looking in all their glory. I used to lend the preserved specimens to local schools, the kids did drawings from them and for some it was the first time they had ever seen a scorpion. So they dont just look nice dried and preserved they can be educational too

| my pandinus cavimanus might die. my fault. I didnt realise I didnt have the heat mat plugged in and woah the back bedroom is cold. found her today pressed to the glass (like a memory of where the heat came from) and one chela bashing the glass. all slow moving. She is in a cricket container next to a heat mat until Adam gets home and then he will check on her and pop her back into her tank.
meh. many births and then many deaths. its a cycle really
