i got this heterometrus petersii a few week's ago it was being kept in a cricket tub on dry bark and was very sluggish
it's now in a proper setup it has perked right up and has eaten a small amount but i noticed it has this white lump on it's side just wondering if any of you know what it could be?
im thinking it could be from an old injury or something

If it was in a dry, barky environment, perhaps it caught a shard lodged into its side?

I agree.
It looks a bit like he had an accident, like the prosoma/mesosoma had burst and it healed and sealed itself with body fluid. Perhaps that's what the white blob is.

Just keep it in good conditions and keep us updated. Looks like an injury.

It's probably a fluid sac then. Just follow Abyss's advice and everything should be fine. Keep us updated.
