| Most any scorps venom kills thei prey at the same speed. I mean, any venom would be a lot for a little bug.
Some french dude from AB hypothesized that scorpion with more toxicity has to do with how frequently they encounter enemies. So the more enemies encountered, the higher toxicity evolution gave them.
That's why burrowers seem to have less since they hide most of the time.

| I also read that. In the same article it stated that scorpions on the run all of the time have smaller, lighter chela, so that they expel less energy and the ones with the big chela usually have a burrow nearby and are pretty much lazy | |

| Confirmed as mycosis Is this probable cause for a refund? I'm pretty upset by this. | |

| It's not probable cause for a refund; you'll find a lot of scorps come in with bits of mycosis. It's fairly rare for emps but it DOES happen.
If it's minor and not near the booklungs, you should be ok for a while. Your best bet is to increase ventilation and drop the humidity a bit.

| Adam said to me that small spots like that shouldn't affect a healthy scorpion. I'm not nearly as worried now I have a screen top, so the ventilation is at a maximum. Thank ya. | |
