I'm back in business

Just went to pick up the first of my new collection. 3 3i T.stigmurus and a H.judaicus. Will post pics shortly. Anybody know what instar T.stigs mature at?

Tityus stigmurus mature at 6th instar I believe. I thought it looked cool in Manny's scorpion book, but they are quite potent, and they reproduce without mating, so me having them communally isn't gonna happen. Pretty scorp tho.

They've actually very communal but yeah they're parthogenic species so ill have some to spare by next year. Thanks for the info

Abyss when you feel you have too many scorps just visit Canada and bring your extras.

I'm hooked again already planning for some lqs and centroides sps.

Oh well, even though I wasn't planning on getting any Tityus stigmurus, when I ordered 16 Vits, and 2 U. Mordax, one of the mordax scorps died before being sent, so I got sent a mystery scorp. Turned out it was a 3-4i Tityus stigmurus. She hasn't aten yet, but she's pretty cool. After reaching maturity, she should become gravid, thus me having a communal tank.

And an unfortunate thing that happened with my Vits, was that I was sent 6 adults, and the rest where tiny 3i, and I just put them in the main communal tank, and this morning I saw an adult eating a baby!! So today, I moved 4 ok f the 3is that I could find to their own KK. I'm not sure where the 6 others are. Some got eaten in transit, others here with me.

At the right temps these are pretty active. I've cooled them down this week due to some maintenance work at home and they are still pretty active, albeit a bit slower.

I have her ontop of my emps enclosure next to the heat lamp dome, because it radiates heat, and she seems to like it.
