Yes,"Long claw" is usually I.politus and your picture above is a female Pandinus cavimanus.

I know that I have a cavimanus but I bought another scorpion on Tuesday which is known as the "long claw" and I do belueve is the I.politus.
Had a better look! in the shop I didnt get up close. I now believe that is the ID.

Hopefully clearer for the chela but I do believe female now....since she made a burrow. Is now rehomed into a much bigger tank! Need a bigger heat mat though

A good look at the chela of the cavimanus will determine the gender quite easily... the male has a dent on the chela right about where the pivot point of the moveable finger would be and the dent quite is pronounced (cavimanus... cavi=cave/dent, manus=claw/hand), almost like you pushed it in with your thumb by accident, also there is a pronounced tooth on the movable finger right down in the 'V' of the claw of the male, the female lack these sexual dimorphisms...

Looking at the pic, the leader pointing to the 'dent' in the male it is a little deceiving, the dent is quite large and accented by the flash and goes clear up to the top of the chela.
