Feeder insect.

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering if there is a feeder that doesn't jump, climb or fly like crickets and locusts. I can't use roaches either. Also it needs to be able to be used as a staple food not something like mealworms because there too faty.

Scorpions prefer preys that move a lot, climb, jump, and especially fly. I can't say prefer, but they like it hard. Scorpions are used to it, leave it be. Like I did the other day, leave the prey in the tank. I left the beetle there, in the morning it ate it. It's hard to force sometimes, it's like hacking your favorite game and then you regret it after. This is somewhat their kind of behavior I've noticed.

I don't know if that's completely true though, but just leave the feeder in the tank. It'll devour it after. The beetle that it ate dug through the soil before. It was a large one.

There is no type of feeder that doesn't in some way try to not get eaten. If you really want slow moving crickets you can remove their jumping legs. All you have to do is pinch them with tweezers on the fatter part of the leg and they will practically fall off.

Why can't you use roaches? Honestly, they are your answer. If it's the www factor, try them out once. Not as gross as many think. Dubias can't even infest. Order some starters at discountdubias.com
