| Hi everyone Just wondering if i can use halogen bulbs for heating as i can't seem to find an infrared bulb that fits my lamp. Does a halogen bulb stress my emperor out at all because i heard they don't emit uv light as it is filtered out in the bulb. or should i just get a different lamp? Thanks  | |

| I think I recall a few people using halogen bulbs for daytime heating and lighting. If they don't emit UV, they should be safe. However, I wouldn't use them 24/7 for obvious reasons. | |
