| Hey thanks everyone, I just had one of those why not days:)
The double aculeus sure does make them apear well equipped, but I wonder, does the second have any venom ducts? Is it functional?

| The second one is what's called a subaculear tubercle. It is not able to deliver venom, the exact function of it isn't known. Some species have tubercles on different parts of their body, such as the patella of the pedipalps. (E.g. Heterometrus spinifer.) | |
