Weird Behavior

Ever since I changed the substrate to coco fiber, my emp has been coming out at night and making a lot of ruckus. In the morning I check the terrarium and I see that shes filled her water dish completely full with the substrate. Why is she doing this?



My only guess is that its not her goal, and that its just substrate getting moved into the dish from her burrowing around her hide. Just looks like shes doing on purpose by how full it is.

You are correct. My emp doesn't do this but my Scolopendra subspinipes and my B. vagans does. Nothing you can really do about it except clean the water dish.

You can always try moving the water dish, or, getting a larger enclosure.

Thanks and yeah I plan on getting something a little bigger just for the hell of it.
