im moving my emps up to a twenty gallon tank and my question is is there something diffrent i have to do in terms of heating? i only have a single ir bulb right now.

they r in a ten gallon right now and things r getting cramped.

I have a twenty gallon for my 4 emps and I just use a single IR. I dont have a problem with the tempature.

i had 6 emps in a 10 gallon :p depends on how much substrate and hides you have, the more the merrier
got 7 in a 30ish gallon now bout to add more hides and make a hill for them to dig in, planning on going 10-15 in there.
I use a 50w IR bulb in there and its fine, they can be fine with room temp too.

i have 5 in a 29 gallon ( 20 long ) i have 2 heat mats on the sides but they dont give off enough heat, if it was winter i would have a problem , when it gets cold im going to use a single 50 w. IR bulb, but im going to keep the heat mats cuase they do give off a little heat

I ended up trading the twenty to my sister for a thirty five and they seem to be doing good
