| Lol it would take like 200 bark scorpions to fill it. I have 5 C vittatus living in an 8 gallon and they still haven't explored it all yet. | |

| I would say travel-size emp/hets -- U. mordax!!! I only have to drive 1/2 an hour to find any. (That's what I have ambitions for, anyway.) But if you're getting a big display tank, it's probably better to have species that are out often enough to justify it (such as barks). As much as I love U. mordax, they only come out at night. | |

| I second connie, having a community of good size scorpions looks fantastic. When my tropical fish snuff it my 180litre tank is turning into a forest sp. tank again | |

| I'd like to do a dryer species, it's a screen top so humidity is always an annoyance with those.
Suggestions I like so far: B jacksoni U mordax (they are an awesome species) Hottentota sp. Heterometrus longimanus
As for Tityus and bark scorpions... They're both awesome and I'd love to do some communal set ups with them but 20L seems like I'd need tons of em. Vittatus I could go collect myself but it takes like 8 hours to drive to find them (I already have 2.2.1.).
Now all I need is some money and I'll start browsing pricelists.

| If you go with H. longimanus, you won't get a lot in there, but it will be an impressive display. I've seen one or two dealers who carry U. mordax on AB, and they run about $10 each. I haven't been able to find enough while I'm collecting to make it worth it to deal them (yet). They're actually a forest species, but they can handle it on the dry side. I don't know if I've shown you a good size reference pic: | |

| I've seen my friend's sub-adult swammerdami, wish I could get a few of those instead...
Hmm U mordax a bit on the tiny side lol.
Okay right now I'm thinking either longimanus or jacksoni.

| Longimanus like it nice and humid, too. If you want dryish and communal it sounds like jacksoni are what you're looking for. Keep in mind, the males are about the size of mordax, and the females aren't a lot bigger. | |
