| ok question: my emperor scorpion...he hides in his cave digging doing whatever eating...chilling. then i notice asit gets to be night time a little colder he sits right under the heat pad. so i turn on the red heat bulb and it shoots up 5 degrees. he comes out of hiding right under the light and starts walking around and tries to climb the wall back and forth very active...is this a good thing? is he happy or pissed off about the red light from zoomed.the one now one knows what to do with...lol | |

| Climbing of enclosure's wall is a "normal" thing they would do when they are exploring/ patroling their boundaries.
As for the heat lamp, what is the day/night temperature you are keeping him/her?

| I've noticed that they become more active when it's warmer. My emp almost never comes out from his burrow, but when he does it's always very warm. (My room is right above my garage, so when it's hot outside, it heats up the garage and thus warming my room.)
It's normal behavior, nothing to be worried about.
