| I was looking on a care sheet for M. Martensii 'cause I'll be getting a pair soon, but then under a list of needed equipment it said I would need a UVB bulb. Do I really need a UVB light? I don't think so but I best make sure before I get them.

| No, scorpions have no special lighting requirements.
(Edit: the best lighting requirement for scorpions is to give them an option to have no lighting -- i.e., a good dark hide somewhere in the enclosure.)
Too much UV can be bad for them (like keeping a blacklight on them 24/7). Intermittent use for demonstrations is OK though. | |
