I think my H. longimanus is about to molt but a few predatory mites are scurrying around the tank...I've read that big scorps can tolerate these little creatures but is it okay for my smaller scorpion?

A few predatory mites is okay, if you are talking about hundreds amassing themselves under a slate/hide.. that could be more stressful to a freshly moulted scorpion.

I've been looking all through the forum reading about mites after reading this as well as googling a ton of images.
Are soil mites and predatory mites the same thing? How can you tell these apart if they aren't? Also, would soil mites be harmful to a scorpion? I'm starting to wonder if that may have contributed to the demise of Scorpinox and Bumblebee.
