| I just got 2 Rhopalurus junceus yesterday and they seem to be pretty active and all,...but they wont eat! they are babies id say 1st instar maybe. Can anybody give some advice? What should i do? | |

| 1.instar refer to the newly born babies which have not gone through the first molt: - Click here to view:
The youngest specimen which can be circulated in the hobby is actually 2.instar (after going through their very first molt and dismounted from mom's back) - Click here to view:
Hence, what you have now should be 2.instar or above. Provided that they are not in pre-molt condition: While some scorps may eat at the very first day once they have been shipped/transit to the keepers... Some scorps may required a few days or up to a week to get accustomed to the new enclosure that which you have place them in. Once they are comfortable and "settled down, they should eat when they are hungry. | Yes they exactly look like 2 instars. So then i will just leave them alone and check on them and let them get used to their home and see if they start eating in a couple of days:). Thank you for the information GS. | |

| Hey guys i have good news! my older looking RJ finally ate but thee other didn't witch is okay and i managed to take a close up picture while it was feeding and wanted to post it, but i am having a hard time posting pictures up....cause i am new. Can anybody help me out?, Thanks | |
