Thanks for starting this thread. This is another species on my list to get. I've looked at a lot of pictures of these scorpions all over the internet for the last several months and they are a really attractive scorpion.
Now I just need to get some!

Yea, i've got 2 of these, adults and im sure its either 1.1 or 2 females, ones chelae is a bit of a mystery, not too big but not too small. But i've never ever seen them catch their prey like yours do, they rarely even move though they do hiss at me if i give them a tap.

You have pictures of their claws? You might already know this, Adult males should have a visible "groove" like thingy on his claws. Yes, mine does the hissing sound too when i go near them, especially my adult female

Yea, one of them has a slight groove but it's weird, doesnt seem like the kind of a male, I'll try to get a clear pic, camera is being gay.

Promenade-a-deux of my Rhopalurus Junceus pair:
Being so much smaller in size, the male still manages to lead the submissive female around the slate looking for the ideal spot to deposit his Spermatophore. Total duaration they took to complete is 1 hour

Very nice capture of the promenade-a-deux Great quality and also one of the better mating vids made for the net! I also like the short graphic you made lol Here's to some babies!

Thats a good start bex Imo, other then having the right candidates(a pair of matured specimens) and optimal enclosure settings, it might also depends on the "chemistry" between the male female. So it'll be good if we can standby a few males if possible. More likely, at least one of them will get into the female's good books.. lolz

Hey guys, My apologies for the lack of updates as i've been pretty caught up at work. Finally found some time to sort out the pictures of my recent broods.
This is Rena and her very first brood after turning 7th instar and mated with her darling prince. Gestation period was 4.5 months.
