Guys whats the venom level of Buthus occitanus? Is it that potent like other buthids?

I cant seem to find one in the net.

Depends from the geography that the scorpion is from.
The european specimens (Spain, Portugal and South of France) are painful but not too dangerous while the Northern african ones (Buthus o. tunetanus) have a much more potent venom.

I didn't know you have B. occitanus too! Have raised any scorplings of this spp?
This is the only spp. I wasn't able get any specimen to molt to instar 3.

Yes from 2.instar to 5.instar.
Sometimes, the problem does not lies in you my friend, i believe you have done your homework and had things set correctly. Strange death occurs for no apparent reasons at times..

I still believe that either they were all not healthy (bad genetics?), or the european B. occitanus is extremely picky to raise.
