i know they need a DWA, public liability insurance, a locked tank in another locked tank, a warning and lock on the door of the room there being kept it, a vet and council inspection too!! hoping you already have a DWA this should be common knowladge to you lol!! a nice hid, sandy substrate and keep them above 28oc, you'll have a happy scorp!

If you can get a hard-to-come-by species, go for it, and just be careful who you tell. Wink

Well Buthus occitanus got a pretty good kick in they venom, but i say keep them dry with some sand/soil to dig and stuff in.. some with bark hides and it will be happy.. if you have a larger tank put in a small waterdish.. PM me if you wan to talk abit more about this sp.. i might have a article or too from Jan Ove Rien i can translate to english for you if interessted..

Kuma let me qoute Jan Ove Riens site for you Very Happy

This is about LQ
"A study from Israel shows that only localized reactions occur in 97% of the victims, but the venom can be potentially letal in children because the severity of the symptoms is weight-dependent."

Ppl stop worring so bloody much about venom.. just dont get stung..
