| So I went to the LPS today and amidst the Hadrurus, Hadogenes, and Pandinus they had this beautiful female Parabuthus liosoma. For thirty dollars it was a steal so I nabbed her. Here she is in all of her thick tailed glory. Isn't she beautiful? Just look at that metasoma! | |

| She's about as big as my Androctonus bicolors are. Maybe slightly larger. Here's a picture of her in the deli cup which measures four and a half inches across. The circle in the plastic next to her is 3/4" across. What do you think? Still a sub-adult? | |

| I might say yes on that. They get to about 4 inches, which is larger than bicolors and a slightly heavier tail. Its a great looking scorpion with a huge vesicle. Big balls on those scorps dude, even though its a female. Welcome to the P. world. | |

| Ye they're king of power and attitude. WHen they do something, things start flying. Whether it be feeders or sand or rocks or wood,...
Very easy to keep healthy too.. Its no accident that arachnids and insects get extinct where Parabuthus flourish (fact btw). They eat them all.

| Thanks Bex. I was really surprised to find her in the first place, let alone at the price I got her for, and looking so healthy. | |

| It is indeed well taken care for. I presume that wont be different now. The sub is great already. Well you'll get the Parabuthus bug now. Too late to go back.
Have you fed it yet? It looks quite fat, so it might not eat. But when it does.. Dont drop your jaw at the ground cuz they attack fiercely. Much more than is visible when you record it with your phone.

Plutos right about that i feed mine for first time last nite and it was a little tank of fury stinging cricket at over a dozen times till it stopped moving , surprised me a little cuz most scorps sting once or twice and wait for venom to take effect but not my Parabuthus
