| like 9-11 you just have to pick up the pieces and make your own art.your trying and theres nothing wrong with that.your new and with time youll get it right until then your a pandinus rank! dark is cozy, dark as in dim light not substrate! hahaha lobsters are a wise choice chief. dont worry theres a slew of other arizonans that get sodomized for pic quality. | |

| i am reading a book by manny rubio scorpions complete care and pet owner's manual. "...Hides:Vertical bark:Arboreal and climbing scorpions do best in the spaces between vertically stacked pieces of bark...These stands help avoid conflicts by permitting each scorpion its own retreat and territory. Some of these species need a vertical slant to molt successfully." "Cannabalism:Communal Species: The amount of surface area: ....if you augment the vertical surface by covering the floor with a 3-inch (7.5CM) layer of moistened cypress mulch, peat, or coconut husk, as many as ten adults will live amicably in a tall 15 gallon (57L) aquarium." im using an eleven gallon, but i want the maximum population living communal | |

tdark how much did your cam cost? Around $200 back in 2005, you can find better digital cameras at Walmart now for $80, kinda sad, lol! I'm looking at a new phone which has a nice cam and shoots HD videos! Shining do you have a colony of Lats setup down here, or know anyone who does that would be willing so sell some off? Cheers, Rob

c.sculpts molt in a variety of ways, upside down,on slanted bark, sideways on a rock.ive found the molts to tell the tale. what i had going on in that viv wouldve easily housed alot more than ten barks and it was a 10 gallon.that book sounds like garbage as it doesnt specify on species or your not reading specific species.barks are communal and wont have as many disputes as you think.trust me ive talked to the experts.toss that book you have the internet full of more specific updated information. thanks tdark.im sorry you got ripped.

| you're the best book that i got shining, the net so garbled and disorganized... the book addressed that there is no official scorp info... that researchers depend on us keepers and breeders to find info and specimens me, i just want the happiest, largest colony living in my vivS remember the layout. and i noticed the slants, verticals, hangs, arcs i know that i'll make a viv that aesthesically please me, IS Artistic(i'm no artist) and has max communal-ness with the help of the forum! thanks guys for all the input! | |

| i apologize for destroying your masterpiece shining. i was under the impression that i was simply purchasing a "dog" and a "leash". thank you for naming the 40 gal for my arizonesis and claiming"the valley of the f*ck" has potential aristic value. i was completely unaware of this hobby's artistic value. im going to toss the large bark piece that you gave me for the mama and slings the're my babies. i'll take great care of them | |

| thanks Nathan.im sure you will be able to manage something equally or greater as you do have the knowledge and artistic edge.(your a drummer i know this maan)
@m16ge any exotic pet you keeps enclosure has artistic potential even that 2.5 gallon i have at my house.
you got stung in the process of dismantling the bark shrine, punishment enough. the bark is still in your posession,so are the c.sculpts and there are pics of that setup on here as well.
i know your mentality behind stripping it.you probably werent happy with how you had to look for the elusive critters.there was a method behind my mayhem.tons of cracks, crevices, vertical climbing areas, upside down hanging areas.all for the security and entertainment purposes for the barks.plus all that minimalizes the cannibalism of the slings.

| COO! i learned a lot.... and i shouldnt be welcome here for destroying a masterpiece cool, i got stung for it... yes! i wanted the coliseum i was going to do that with the gracilis. didnt work... but now that i learned some and realized, the cracks crevices are necessary for them to relax. im learning and having a lot of fun! thanks for still keeping me here... i was almost too guilty to keep any scorp frens... it's a pleasure to learn finally learn something truly artistic! | |

| "naked" LoL ... i learned naked = bad... mama likes the huge central cork bark underneath the hanging flat-large bark underneath climbing the screen. it's cool. scorps can use the screen as living space stinkin home depot is taking forever with my velro tape back order! guess where the slings are? they are all over the large big bark piece! i left it in one huge piece. i tried to leave the trophy part exposed im anxious to have em populate the viv ill look into and save for a wally world camera $80 isnt bad thanks guys for all the input | |

| coo!!! when i was in the marine expeditionary unit, i was the stitch-bitch on ship. it's cool, i got every1's beer rations this friday, im stitchin the screen, you gave me, onto my metal screen lid from the outside bc im more proficient doing stitches than using a hot glue gun. right now the screen is resting under the metal screen lid and taped down. i really want velcro tape to secure my vivs. but im open to other clean security mods bc im still waiting on the home depot back order. what's the name of the metal clip snapping thingie setup on your emperor tank? one of the slings waits for cricks to pass under him on the front corner cork bark https://i.servimg.com/u/f48/16/78/98/96/slingl10.jpg i havent seen the other slings i think they just ambush around the large bark she about to climb from the bark to the screen again https://i.servimg.com/u/f48/16/78/98/96/mamauv10.jpg mama never comes out during the day or is hard to see, unless it's feed day around dusk on feed day she has a quick angry patrol lol 2nd feed i used dubia. other feeds i have been using cricks bc dubia burrow a lot more. like deer moving on the edge of wilderness the cricks move about the perimeter while scorps are there waiting to ambush muhahahahhahahh | |
