| Havent been on here in a while and since my last visit I lost two of my last three purchases. My avic avic escaped when my girlfriend didnt latch the door on its eclosure and my smeringurus mesaensis died of a cause still unknown to me. Anyways, once the weather starts to warm up in about a month or so, Ive been wanting to start a colony of a centruroides sp. Ive owned a centruroides sculpturatus in the past and Im looking for something a bit more exotic. My only problem is I dont know where I could get centruroides sp for a decent price. Tarantulaincs price is perfect for me, 5@60$ but they only have the c.sculpturatus in stock. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could possibly order any centruroides sp and be able to get at least 5 for no more than 100$ or so..? | |

| Excuse me I did not leave the door unlatched, thank you very much. She got out through the top if I am not mistaken. Just felt I should correct you because I'm not going to take the heat for her death. She was my favorite and you didn't keep it hot enough, if I am not mistaken about what you told me anyway... | |

| Get some Florida Bark scorpions. They are very potent tho if they sting you. Most of the Centruroides are tho. They are communal but i have lost 1 so far in my colony of 4 but now 3 to a molt. They will eat each other lol. But other than that, they are entertaining to feed and an awesome little bark scorpion. | |

| Ive thought about getting those but my only problem is finding them. The only bark scorpion I can seem to find online is the Arizona bark scorpion. | |

| The key to keeping just about any species communally is to only use adults. Juveniles prey on molting peers, it's almost inevitable. Keep this in mind and you'll do fine May I suggest Centruroides vittatus as well, they're a neat species. | |

| I believe that the Arizona Bark Scorpion are the most potent ones here in the US of the bark scorpions...some dude at a Reptile Expo said he was stung by one and he still 3 months later has lost feeling in his thumb LOL | |
