| The annoying noise is my fan. I woke up to this dirty epicness and didn't have time to turn the fan off. So hopefully soon it'll be Momma Studly again! | |

| Thanks! I'm soooo excited!
But now the questions since I don't want to lose Brood #2:
When should I separate Griffon and Studly? That will be the only thing I ask for a while. Thanks all!

| Everything I'm reading says that as long as they have sufficient food, and optimum conditions, you can probably leave him in with her until she starts to show signs of pregnancy.
Don't know if that helps. Kinda hoping someone who has bred these chimes in soon...................

| If everything is the way it should be then you don't have anything to worry about. When she is closer to popping move her or him to a temporary enclosure. I say her, make extra sure she is not under stress and leave her be and do everything as you would normally. Then when they come off her, move her and leave them in the old enclosure and you can separate them because they may cannibalize. I've cared for 4 emp broods and 3 of them were successful. | |
