| Incredible isnt it!
But tbh if you like explosive feeding fights (its what i call them) you must grab yourself a Pt.
These guys dont mess around and even follow crickets 1.5x their size when they jump, they just clamp on and fly through the air with them. I never have witnessed such feeding aggression in any arachnid. Maybe young australis are about the same, but I doubt it.
They are probably the only species that attack everything when presented the opportunity. I have seen them tear of cricket legs 3x the thickness of their pinchers without any problem.
If you lift a stung cricket the scorpion will just hang on entirely off the floor.
So is she still feeding ravenously? If so, you'll be having little ones soon.

Yeah, she has yet to refuse any sort of food... Roaches, crickets you name it she will devour..

| By the way, this is one of the MEANEST scorps I have EVER had the chance to see or deal with. It's way worse then any P. Trans I've seen.
Last time I gave it crickets, it just ripped off the legs (all of them, not just the rear) then grabbed it and ran around the cage then chomped it, alive.... This is a beast I don't get near!

| Both of them seem to be pretty heavily gravid though. We shall see. They dug pretty extensive burrows so I only get small peeks at them through the mouth from time to time. | |
