| Stop whining.. In Norway keeping reptiles and amphibians is ILLEGAL! We are allowed to keep all of the scorps and spiders that you are not allowed to tho. Pretty f***ed up law right? -.- | |

| Thanks Anna.
When adult they are stunners, now they are just a sort of barkscorpion with two aculeus'. Their camo is real good though. You need to look out not to grab them when grabbing the wood they're on.
5 mins ago I checked up on them and I fed them.. its quite crazy to see crickets dangling in the air just to be held with a needlesharp pincer of a small scorpion.. they chase from their vertical or upside down bark homes you see.. when they sting something it falls dead, literally so they hold them or it falls to the ground, its not something I'm used to see, since i only had desert fossorial species.
I hope you understand my blurry explanation :-)
I like them, they're far far faaaar more docile..

| hahahaha, you devil you! Thanks, will take some time for them to grow to adulthood though :-)
Dont even know if they are fast growers or not, but figuring I found a molt in their box during shipment tells me they are.

| Well I dont think its hard.. they are not really eating those crickets though. I saw one dangling upside down and only the head was eaten, it dropped it I think and didnt fetch it.
I find dead crickets every hour, but not eaten... strange things, these guys! But they are really gorgeous!
You should get some Anna, they go good with your hair!

| Those are great too, they behave somewhat the same I think... they're bigger. The asthenes have a subaculear tubercule, which is cool.. | |

| Nah, probably not. They are arboreal by nature so not much use for a spade. I think it's there to intimidate and frighten small children. Right up Pluto's alley that is. | |

| haha someone has to do it!! I think its there because of grip reasons. Like a chainsaw. When it has teeth at the base of the blade you can push a log into them and use it as a 'hinge' on which you can put force onto. It works as leverage to drive the blade into the wood.
I think this tooth is something equally useful.
Otherwise it might just be a natural adaption born to fade away over time.
