I've got a couple Tityus magnimanus coming in a couple weeks but they're nowhere near as sexy as those.
Please post pics I need some new material to rub out that easy one before bed.

Thanks dude, you dont have to kill anyone for one. They're still small but seeing the luck I had with raising the smaller androctonus etc I think breeding these will not be any harder.

Magnimanus are way cool too.. I just wanted these because they were available to me and I like the colors and position and looks of the chelae...

So I got them and here are some quick pics. I'm inclined to say I should move to Arizona too.. but they're so damn small still. I like them very much. Not so much from a showcase pov since they are indeed more timid than the desert ones I have, but from looks.. well, not many scorpions compare to their posture, even at a very young age.

One moulted during transport, all seems fine though. When they stretch out they're bigger than what they look like in their normal 'Tityus posture'.

Very happy with them. I think i3 and I4s... beautiful




First one is the one that just moulted. Really big compared to the other three. Means the others will follow soon. Last pic is one in their transport cups. They were all very lively. They dont need as high of a temperature than Andros, so shipping is less risky.

Jup 4, 4 youngsters... Normally a couple should grow out of these. If not, I'll find some more. I could buy adults too, but seeing I like to see them grow and I am in no rush, I bought these.

They will be stronger too and at least you know how fresh they are once they are adults.
