should i get a second scorpion?

should i get a second emperor scorpion for my tank?
its a 10 gallon tank with coco fibers and some moss stuff and lots of crickets and iv got a venus fly trap and trying to get other plants to also grow and can i put in milipedes or something else to live in there with the scorpions and crickets safetly

and should i get it befor or after my 8 day trip? i will have someone to put water in and turn lights off and on, they are just scared of scorpions so might not take 100% care of it

I just use isopods from outside, there are plenty of them. I live so far back in the woods that there is no worries as to pesticides.

Seriously though, I have no idea about anything else. I guess anything could really go in there as long as you don't mind it possibly becoming dinner. Within reason of course.

If you do catch isopods outside make sure they don't have any chemical on them. They can build up a tolerance to pesticides and fertilizers, but if you scorp eats one it could kill it because they won't have the same tolerance.

alright i dont really care if anything eats eachother as long as its not the scorpions being eaten lol and are the orange ones better then the greys ones or just cost more cause they are different color?

I think they are all the same. Not sure where they come from... As long as you aren't mixing scorp species, and what you put in there isn't toxic, aggressive, or larger than the scorpions you should be alright.

Go ahead and get a 2nd Just make sure you have a 2nd hide in there. They will most like use the same but the 2nd is good incase of fights or if for whatever reason they dont. Introduce them appropriately. As for a separate species, Isotopes are basically it.

That depends if you want to breed. Otherwise it doesn't really matter. If you want to breed go for the opposite sex and have a flat solid surface in the tank for them to mate on.

I forgot. You can also put springtails in there. They will also help clean up your tank.

what are spring tails? and i dont care if they mate i dont think i now how to take care of them when they are pregnant or have babys

It's the same except just take extra care that the conditions are right and if you have to separate scorpions.
