Yes it is.

Ants are very bad. They will kill your scorpions. Bugsincyberspace.com also sells isopods, and some are cheaper than what ken sells. Here is the Link.

how do i get rid of ants?

Try giving them something more interesting to eat like a cracker outside of the tank. Figure out where they are are coming in at and place an ant trap there.

if you want to know what gender your emp is,get a good pic of its pectine area and post it on here.depending on where you go they make not sex em for you and youll have to do it yourself or someone who have false info and give you a wrong gender.

no but i dunno,leftover crickets,the comfiness of your emps soil and warmth,the water. it is a sad thing when one dies.it will always be even with the adults we get.comes with the territory buddy.
but on a brighter note ive only witnessed the death of one scorpling out of my c.sculpturatus brood which was a total of 28 babies.that one will be missed though.

its easy to check at a pet store.narrow the emps of similar size to choose from and bring a clear container to put them in and look.sure itll take a lil extra time.but time is nothing when you get what your looking for.

You could try and post pictures and post them here.

You may want to clean your tank (change substrate, etc) The ants will have put down chemical signals for other ants to follow, and the signals lead into your tank. If you put isopods into your tank, you should not have to worry about mold.
