Cyanide suggested it originally. I, like him, always try to push them on people. They are awesome, and nearly impossible to kill. They will thrive even with the most basic care.

There's not much you can do if it decides to bolt other than cup it when it stops or try get it run onto you. I wouldn't try scooping it up cause it will most likely bite the s*** outta you and they pack some decent venom. Im a big fan of baboon spiders. Especially S Calceatum. Theyre one nasty spider.
This is all my one has. A lid and a stick. It made a nest behind the stick and dug down a good bit. No spider in the pic though but I will try get a decent one.

i would love to try it. i have 2, 3 foot aquariums (1 was for the baby emps.. but i'd lose them lol) which i would love to try a biotope for scorpions. maybe divide it up?

there is a thread, a while back. it's now bare, but filled with coco fibre. https://scorpionforum.darkbb.com/t6772-the-project-is-done-babies-arrived ignore the fact i say it's for emps.. 'cos i've decided they won't need half that room i could re seal it 'cos the silicone has dirt.. which didn't come off
maybe start a " biotope " thread for pics of people natural setups?

do it tom i wanna see those topes. ehk resealing is a drag! i resealed a 30 gallon hex for my babys mama. its worth the while cause shes putting live plants and angelfish in there and my daughter loves watching fish. id say you dont have to reseal it if your not filling it up with water.but if the dirt in the sealant bothers you be prepared to put some elbow grease into it.theres sealant removal stuff that makes it easier to remove which i didnt use.becareful resealing as well as that stuff gets everywhere and can come out looking very unprofessional.also be sure you get some sealant that is aquarium safe.dunno if that matters to scorps but just to be on the safe side id get it.
