PostSubject: leopard geckos   leopard geckos Empty5/7/2008, 2:04 pm

i have had my leopard gecko, gizzard, for 5 years and she has been fine by herself but now i have been given the garage by my dad and have decided to breed them.
yesterday i got a 4 foot cage (with 2 floors so they have 8 foot floor space) for £10 ($16) on ebay and was wonderin if anyone here has bred geckos b4 and could give me any advice.
i am hoping to get a male and 2 more females.

Hi!
We (me and my girlfriend) had a couple of gecko`s for about 2,5 year. We kept them toghether all the time.
The female was 6 months older than the male, which probably prevented the male from driving her crazy.
The first egg we noticed was about the size of a grape, and was infertile.
About half a year later she layed 2 eggs, which hatched successfully.
The fertile eggs were harder and had a more similar shape to each other, than the first egg.

Terrible cellphone picture.
We kept it in a homemade incubator for about 3 moths i belive.(Don`t remember) And finaly, one day the egges hatched Smile

Do you have an incubator, or du you need to make one?
