Pic's and Questions...

First the Q:
I have owned a single female patternless lucistic leopard gecko (so I was told) since Feb. of 2007. And I just bought another female leopard gecko today. I was attempting to put them into a new 20 gallon so they could live together but they just fought every time they saw each other (the paternless attacked the leopard) is this normal? are they solitary lizards? or is it just temperments?

Ive never had a leopard gecko, but he has a giant day gecko that was very territorial when we put in some rough green snakes. Maybe its just a case of "this is my home, get out"...

you had roughgreens too? great little snakes.

Don't know about the territorial disputes, but you've got some cool geckos there.

It`s normal that the male suppress the females a bit. Some people say you should keep 2 females and 1 male to decrease this behaviour.( Or just let him share the terror between them )

Also, if he is in a little love mood, it`s normal that he uses a little violence to flirt with the females.

Just keep an eye on them.

Are you sure you haave a male and a female? if you have 2 males they will always fight and you'll need to keep them seperated.

i recently bought 3 baby leos and put them in a 70 gallon tank with an adult female i have had for years on her own.
she thought that they were food and almost got one of them...
if they are fighting then they dont like eachother and wont change their mind
