it does look very wet.
it looks like that spider life, that soaks well easily

It's not actually that wet, the humidity is around 90%, it just looks incredibly moist. I mist it, and flood the bottom of the substrate with a straw. Keeps it just right, and stops the surface from turning into a bog.
