In order to get real beer you have to go to the state owned liquor store and pay exorbitant amounts in "sin" tax. Literally what they call it here. Sin tax.

To buy a liter of good beer usually costs around $5 USD at the liquor store. At the pub it would be twice that.

Well, it makes for good times! It has 8.5% alcohol content I believe, not too much. But it doesnt hit you like an ordinary hammer, but like a sledgehammer...

Man America is so alien to me lol. There are states with a sin tax for buying 'strong' alcohol. It's crazy lol. The US is on my list of places to go before I die and there is so much I love about the country but you lot really do have some weird laws and people (who make up all the silly laws).
