Poecilotheria T's freak me out a bit. They are awesome, but there is something about arboreals that just wigs me out.

Maybe the ability to teleport for real.. You can however predict it sometime. If they turn toward you and keep still (not in threatpose) you are in for a scare. They leap right at you.

Avics don't bother me so much, but I find them to be a bit boring. Poecilotheria are much more exciting and I love looking at them, I just don't want to have one on my face. Maybe I'll get over it. I was looking at some regalis at the shop where I got my Het... Since no one here has any good scorpions right now maybe I'll get some T's.

Get some! They run up your arm on the weirdest of occasions... you will laugh once you get them off and back into their home.. If it happens, no not if.. it will happen.. make a picture of your face!

It will be priceless. So was mine... They don't bite easily.. but they do keep running and when it is on you, good luck guiding it... As you said, not fun to have one on your face I imagine

I have no idea.. I had many times the feeling that I'd get bitten because one ran up my arm, again.. but no, never been bitten and plan to stay that way.

You know, they got really large teeth and i think if they bite, it hurts more than a scorpion stinging you. So no thanks

Heheh cool, i have 5 of each running around of which I sold one each.
So tonight I will have 4 each.

I will be parting with the biggest regalis named Rambo, because he has the best assets to comfortably survive the trip.

I had one subfusca moult already to i3! It got quite a size bump. Will post a picture later, when it has hardened. Looks gorgeous too! Black, with white rings around the legs and the body colour is already coming through.

I have one that is sick though.. I think it will die, but hey... if it stays with one, I'm happy. I believe the sick one is a regalis. It seems to have DKS

That sucks Sam. Are you hand feeding it? I have read reports of DKS being cured through successful moulting and hydration. The problem seems to be keeping them fed.

Nah dude, I think if it dies and the others are just fine, it is a weak specimen and is not supposed to live. I do put it warmer and keep it heavy moist like in an ICU. I killed a pinhead and shoved it under its nose. All I can, and want to do. I have some spares
