Chile Rose, Curly Hair, etc...
Have a root round the spider forum or the general chat bit. This has been covered quite a few times.
Always happy to talk spiders though.

I'd keep a P. Murinus. Honestly! They are pretty defensive, but you shouldnt be handling spiders anyway. Keep them in their enclosure and you got a gorgeous, active spider to look at.

It never dies (put it in a jar,...... in the freezer with glass and it will eat the glass happily on which the fridge follows as desert).

I think they are the most hardy spiders around. Keep them warm, keep them cold, keep them dry, keep them wet. Doesn't matter, they always feel happy and will spin a burrow of which other species can only dream of.

They score really high on my list, from beginners to advanced....

Also, they're.. like pokies, the most fascinating to watch hunting their prey! It is amazing.

Wow, thanks for all the intel everyone! I do believe (Providing I have the money for it) that I will be getting a G. Rosea this weekend! Probably Thursday evening sometime. We'll see how that goes! Again, thanks!

Make your second a P. murinus. I'm with Pluto on this one. I defy you to kill it. They will live in the most stringent of conditions and are always exciting.

I'm gonna have to try the P. Murinus aren't I? LOL Ok, when I get the money I will look for one and see how it goes. Anyone know anything about pink-knees or pink toes? What are they like since I see them in almost every pet store I visit. Thanks!

Pink toe is Avicularia avicularia. Typical arboreal spider. They are quite popular as a beginner arboreal as they are pretty cheep, and easy to care for.
