| Jup it is from Lipton Ice tea 500ml pet bottles. I thought she was going basket because she did a strange thing with her tail, but it was false alarm, but I did get to shoot her from below this time. You can say if you see these dots in a female membrane that she prolly is gravid How far? I dont know, will have to ask someone with the experience in this. I asked someone who I trust blindly in his knowledge about scorpions, so will let you know what he thinks. | |

| Yes could be! What sand are you using? It might also be that she is not as far as mine yet, or.. that she is further than mine and that the embryo in your scorpion have grown bigger.
I dont know. Is she fat like mine or fatter?

| No I dont think its a lung either. Anyway if those embryo get that huge, mine may not survive. She just has too many!.. How bloated is your bicolor female? Even more so than mine?

| Well prolly she IS gravid. Almost all WC females are.. they just need to get a trigger I think.
When I got mine, she wasnt fat, and no eggs could be seen. Could barely see the difference between her and the male.
I think, because I gave her an abundance of food, something triggered her "breeding clock".. saying, lots of food, pretty warm and hiding places.. good survival chances..
So Will, yours might just be evolving. The thing you see prolly are not embryo (need to agree with Street).. but I'm sure she is gravid (almost 90%) she just needs to cook her stuff first, before you get to see the nymphs in her belly..
You have two wc females, yes? Chance are even greater then..

| Pluto is right. It seems that many wild caught females are already graved. Could be she's bulking up for her brood that is developing... | |

| I'm with pluto and street. Sometimes, its strange when things turn out unexpectedly. E.g. an emp wrongly ID'ed as a male suddenly gives birth and all starts congratulating. Only time can tell. Certainly hope she's gravid for you mate | |
