Present for GF

I took a trip to some pet shops Friday to explore any possible scorpion sellers. I didn't find any at all, but I did find some cute little furry Russian Dwarf Hamsters. I automatically fell into interested in these guys cause of how well they burrow! almost as good as my emps. I picked up a pair of them and a all pink cage that includes all the correct hamster goods. Today I'm going to be giving them to my GF as a little present. Hope she likes them .

I wouldnt be happy with any of those lol, my fiancee got me a scorpion for valentines day

I had one of these not too long ago before it passed away. They're very easy to take care of if you don't mind cleaning their homes every so often. Their food is cheap and feeding them is as easy as it gets. I don't know if all dwarf russians do this, but I was able to get mine to come to me while I fed it oats. I could do it out of its cage or call it to the front "gate" of its cage so I could hand feed it

I love my girlfriend but, that is an attribute I wish she carried. She doesn't mind my Scorpion love but, she doesn't really care for it at the same time.

Yeah, my wife is not too much into inverts either, she's more of a herp person. Over the past months, I've take her 4 fancy rats though, and 2 beardies I posted a while ago.

+1 what everyone has commented on this. I'm not too much of a hamster person, but they're cute. My gf doesn't mind my scorpion's but she doesn't like them either lol.

The only time my wife enjoys my scorpion keeping is during the mass feeding session for my little H. Hottentottas (2i-5i)
Its like 18 "BAMS!" in a row which the little buddies managed to fascinate her with their furious attacks on the preys.
once they've grown to adults, my wife loses interest.. lolz

Aww, what cute hamsters. lol My boyfriend bought me a hamster as a present too. ^^ Highly effective though I wouldn't have minded him getting me a scorp either.

I would just pack myself in a ribbon for Valentine, Bday or whatever celebrating that needs to be done.. works, but only once.

Second time you get "BOOOOOOO"ed at..
Third time, you get pointed to the door. By that time, you know if it is love or not.
