| i had an emp that started raising its 'stinger' alot ,, i didnt have a clue what she was doing n then about a week later she had molted, but ive only ever had that once, all my other scorps have just stayed hidden and stopped eaten for a couple of weeks, half the time you probably wont know untill its all over with and u find the old exo in their burrow. | |

| Yeah it's strange and I think she's going to molt soon, But someone also said it could be pregnant and is about to give birth. I've never seen a scorpion give birth so I have no clue. | |

| could be cos another emp i had was acting strange when gravid but unfortunatly she only had 5 and they all died/got eaten lol ,,,,, just keep an eye on her and play the waiting game lol keep in mind that they can only be gravid when there adults,, if its a sub-adult/juvenile then it will be a pre-molt | |

| When they lift themselves up, and when thEy have their bottoms up in the air they are regulating their temperature, pre molt signs are generally looking very fat/swollen and not eating,

| i was wondering if my desert hairy is in pre molt. three weeks ago i went to florida for a week and when i came back he was fatter than before. for the past two weeks i didnt see him eat even though everytime i placed something inside his enclosure he destroyed it in seconds xD i was wondering how long can this continue if he in fact is in pre molt. if he is this would be my first scorpion molt i am not sure what i he is because i bought it. | |
