| Dang, sorry for your loss. It could have burrowed underneath the divider or used its tail to give itself a boost over. For what it's worth, I had a new Pandinus cavimanus and a Hadrurus arizonensis killed by tiny ants a while back. Your first scorps always seem to be more special than the next, but I hope you'll continue to explore and enjoy the scorpion world. | |

| ow! how sad. I think it climbed on the divider that you use, as what i saw in your enclosure the divider that you use was not high enough maybe she can reach the top of it and then climb. Just a guess. sorry for the loss. | |

| sorry for your loss... you might want to make sure you figure out how she got over there and fix it before getting another. but I'm guessing like the others that your cd case divider just wasn't tall enough... people have been known to come home and find their scorpions hanging from the top of their tanks... | |

| sorry for your loss... if you plan to get another and they dont get along i would recommend just getting another tank (safest option) or seperating the tank in half from top to bottom as you dont want to risk it happening again, also you should re-arrange the whole tank before introducing another maybe a substrate change and always make sure there is at least one hide for each scorpion (im sure they recomend you should have 1 more hide than you have scorpions) this should help reduce terratorial fights...it is normal for them to fight a bit when they first meet but this should calm down after a while, but like i said as long as you have enough hides for each scorpion to have there own 'den' they should be fine | |

| Sry for your loss.. I agree with the rest.. might need to fortify the divider .. Btw, is your female gravid (possible reason for aggression) and is she much bigger size as compared to the male? | |
