It's a bit tricky but after a couple of tries you should get the hang of it. Basically you simply mix x amount of resin with x amount of hardener (instructions will always be on the pack somewhere) and add that mix to your form with the scorpion inside.
The trick is to only do a thinish layer of mixed resin at a time otherwise the hardening process generates so much heat that it damages the specimen. Therefore, until you get the hang of it don't use your prime specimens.
I used to put a recently deceased specimen in the freezer until i was ready to put it into resin. Taking it from the freezer i'd let it thaw naturally until i could gently position it without breaking any of the legs. I used 3 layers of resin, letting it harden before pouring the next layer on in both specimens shown here which incidently are a R.junceus adult female (died shortly after moulting) and a H.longimanus that was dead on arrival.
