| my empore scorp i think is dead at the time im writing this but maybe not. i have 2 and they live together. Alot of the time they shared hides and got on. but one of them (female) Started stinging itself in the back. thats what it looked like anyway. i thought it was because it was to hot so i isolated it in its own viv with little heat and no light. its just got worse and it wont even move. only its claws in its head move. i want to know why it died. could it not have moved to the cold end. The other scorpion its fine no problems (male).
Diet: mostly crickets. few mealworms Size: 2 inches - 3
i kept it clean. there are little mites around sometimes i read they eat dead bits of food so i clean where they are.
for me my heat mate is under the container what i heard is bad so i have moved it i would like to know if this is true.
it gonna die in the next hour but i would like to know why for the future.

| What is the temperature inside the tank? Maybe give us a warm and cold side temp. Also, did you keep the substrate moist and did they always have water to drink? You might check out the FAQ's in the emperor section to see if you did anything different than what is recommended.
It could be that what happened is no fault of yours. How long have you had the scorpions?

| Well I'm sorry to hear that, but could you please elaborate on your set-up?
Like what was the temp, approximate humidity, type of substrate (specifically, what's in it; I've no idea what "proprep spiderlife bedding" is), depth of substrate, did it have access to water?, where did the prey items come from, what are the hides made of, etc.
Pictures would be great.
