Mystery scorp from Baja California

Zach believes it to be Hadrurus pinteri.

Yeah I stumbled across it some time ago and posted it on ab yesturday fro zach.

Green and black are awesome colors.
The translucency is a good touch as well.

I checked already. No i didn't find the scorp I just stumble on the picture on the web. But now did I got location on possible species I'm gonna head that way and look for them in a few weeks.

when I'm on my research trip of the sw next year I'll keep my eyes open when I head into the baja. yes, I'll let you people know if and when I'm in your general areas if you want.

I wasn't gonna ask...but hey. If you wanna some free food and possibly some free bugs your always invited to our bbq's.

it's all a matter of getting out your way. we'll be using a retired class 3 ambulance because they are easy to convert into a mobile lab/research station. maybe we can schedule something around us being in socal...we'll be coming from vegas to san diego then flying to puerto vallarta (good gateway for the sierra madres) for almost a wk and back then hawaii for a few days and back and we'll be driving into the baja for a few days somewhere between flying and then driving up the 8 to the 10 across az for a couple more wks.

Well we could proably set something up for you guys in San Diego.

Whatever that thing is, it's awesome and I want one! Let us know if you ever dig up a positive ID on it.

hmmm i really doubt it got that greenish color in real life, might just be black light from a distance.. some deserts gets that glow too.. but anyway its a cool scorpion anyway
